Place for books - very proud

I wanted to shout load at the top of my voice from the concealed air-conditioned library Chennai’s very own; second largest in India. I used to lament when I witnessed some of the fine libraries abroad; I always comment to my friends that seeing the method of books being stored one can ascertain the attitude of people of the state. It’s definitely a replica or an inspiration from some out of the boundary culture, not to complain but definitely a good thing to welcome even when replicated.
The infra structure is good, generous car park, courteous staff surprisingly I found securities saying “thank you and welcome” I had goose bumps- off course it’s very normal otherwise but in India in Tamilnadu that to in ‘Chennai’ it was unexpected. Great collection of books for a government setup supposedly the most well maintained government unit could be this library at Koturpuram, even though it’s just one year I am confident that the present ruler who is herself a voracious reader will keep the treasure well groomed.
Demerits – “Too many cooks spoil the broth” as the saying goes there were too many staff members disturbing privacy.
