WHAT HAPPENS IN AN INTERVIEW?

Y ou might generally meet two to five persons (interviewers, recruiters, or hiring managers) sometimes they begin the interview by explaining shortly what the company does and what they are looking for in the candidates relating to the advertised job. Job interviews differ from one another, but they have some common features. The kind of interview and how many levels of interview you will go through depends on the type of position you are applying for.   It is perfectly normal to be nervous which the employers understand beyond that a firm handshake, proper eye contact, and a pleasant smile would add to your advantage.   Being professional, being on time, dressing appropriately, and having required information about the company will show that you are serious about what you want. The Interview Breakdown: Scene-by-Scene  1. Opening Scene: The First Impression Moment (0-5 min) You walk in (or log in on Zoom), looking sharp. What's happening? They’re alre...

A bird's-eye view / Aerial view / Worm's-eye view - The term a worm's-eye view is a controversial term.

Image
A bird's-eye view is an elevated view of an object from above, with a perspective as though the observer were a bird, often used in the making of blueprints, floor plans, and maps.  It can be an aerial photograph, but also a drawing. Before manned flight was common, the term "bird's eye" was used to distinguish views drawn from direct observation at high locations (for example a mountain or tower), from those constructed from an imagined (bird's) perspectives. Bird's eye views as a genre have existed since classical times.  The last great flourishing of them was in the mid-to-late 19th century, when bird's eye view prints were popular in the United States and Europe. The terms aerial view and aerial viewpoint are also sometimes used synonymous with bird's-eye view. The term aerial view can refer to any view from a great height, even at a wide angle, as for example when looking sideways from an airplane window or from a mountain top.  Overhead vie...

Gossip

Gossip Fun and entertainment revolves around two aspects in our city one is cinema and the other gossip . How much fun we have while watching movie in theatres? I would not mind spending a week’s earning in watching movies; that is how stars have become superstars. Every other house has an aspiring model or a passionate film aspirant; good that’s Tamil nadu and that’s India; here especially in the metro we have the second best interest shown in gossiping.  I remember recently my friend planned a trip to Coonnor, Ooty. He invited me and mentioned that the sole purpose of the trip is to gossip. How reasonable and what a purpose ! So, that way we indulge a lot in cinemas; some of the films that fascinated me and many others would include ‘ 3 idiots ’ the way young Amir Khan had performed was truly remarkable then ‘ Burlesque ’ was a fantastic movie around Cristina Aguliara, then the movie ‘ KO ’ was again a good movie and ‘ Dear John ’, watching ‘ If only ’ was a treat.  The fi...

Life, love, lust, sex are common and similar terms

Image
Only 17% of women are likely to have an orgasm during sex (Durex Global Sex Survey). According to a survey of sex shop owners, cherry is the most popular flavor of edible underwear. A man will ejaculate approximately 18 quarts of semen, containing half a trillion sperm, in his lifetime. 48% of 9,100 men polled on an online dating site say they too have faked an orgasm. In ancient Greece and Rome dildos were carved out of everything they could get their hands on from wood, glass, leather, gold, silver and even animal horns. The left testicle usually hangs lower than the right for right-handed men. The opposite is true for lefties. A female orgasm is a powerful painkiller (because of the release of endorphins), so headaches are in fact a bad excuse not to have sex. John Harvey Kellogg invented corn flakes as a meatless breakfast food, designed to reduce the sexual drive.

Glycemic Index - Snippet Weight Loss with Low GI Healthy Carb Choices Low Carb High Fiber GI Diet Plan Smart Carb Eating Balanced Meals

Image
Glycemic index, or GI, is a ranking system for carbohydrates based on their effect on blood sugar.  The more quickly a carbohydrate breaks down, the higher its glycemic index. Foods are rated on a scale of 0 to 100. For weight loss, diabetes management, and for some low carb diets, it is advised to choose foods with a GI of less than 55. Foods with a GI between 56 and 69 break down at a moderate rate but if they are nutritionally valuable, you can have them in moderate amounts. Foods with a GI of greater than 70 break down very quickly and can cause health problems on the long run. "In good repair?  Does it mean that it's not in good condition? Do we have to spend a lot of money repairing it? It means just the opposite. A good manager has at least 10 good qualities!

A Good Manager (Part - 1) A good manager has at least 10 good qualities The attributes of a good manager. There isn't a magic formula for good management, of course, but if you're a manager, perhaps these tips will help you be more effective: 1 Choose a field thoughtfully.  Make it one you enjoy. It's hard to be productive without enthusiasm. This is true whether you're a manager or employee; 2 Hire carefully and be willing to fire.  You need a strong team, because a mediocre team gives mediocre results, no matter how well managed it is. One mistake is holding on to somebody who doesn't measure up. It's easy to keep this person on the job because he's not terrible at what he does. But a good manager will replace him or move him to where he can succeed unambiguously; 3 Create a productive environment.  This is a particular challenge because it requires different approaches depending on the context. Sometimes you maximize productivity by giving everybody hi...

Books, Reading habit, Bliss of Solitude

Image
"A busiest man has got time for everything"  We are busy but don't have time for reading.  As life goes on, a day passes by in a blink. Our resolutions vaporize before we could prepare for its arrival.  We promise ourselves to read at least one book every week; went in vain, so reading is an initiative to “sharpen the saw” to make that dream that conviction, that little promise of yours come true.  Make reading a habit.

Lake Natron - it can burn the skin and eyes of animals that are aren't adapted to it.

Image
Lake Natron  is a  salt  and  soda lake  in the  Arusha Region  of northern  Tanzania Lake Natron in Tanzania is one of the most serene lakes in Africa,  but it's also the source of some of the most phantasmagorical ( characterized by fantastic and incongruous imagery )   photographs ever captured — images that look as though living   animals had instantly turned to stone. The alkaline water in Lake Natron has a pH as high as 10.5 and is  so caustic it can burn the skin and eyes of animals that aren't   adapted to it. The water's alkalinity comes from the sodium   carbonate and other minerals that flow into the lake from the   surrounding hills. And deposits of sodium carbonate — which was   once used in Egyptian mummification — also acts as a fantastic type   of preservative for those animals unlucky enough to die in the   waters of Lake Natron. A new threat to Lake Natron is the proposed developm...
