Feasting & Famine
Social occasions such as wedding and reception merit celebration and feasting. True, but I'm appalled by the amount of food that goes waste. Untouched sweets and other dishes off the dinner table end up in trashcan. As if to complement the squander, I see beggars and dogs competing for what is trashed. Are we doing the right thing, I ask myself?
