Hard to Believe.... What is the origin of "honeymoon"? In the old days people wanted their marriage to start on a sweet note. It was therefore customary for newlyweds to drink mead for a month. Mead was a drink made from honey. The "moon" refers to the period of thirty days or one month that the couple was expected to drink the mead. After the first month, the couples came face to face with reality; they realized that their affection, like the moon, would wax and wane. By the way, the word "honeymoon" need not always be used to refer to the holiday that newly married couples take immediately after marriage. The term is now being used to refer to an early stage in any activity when people are happy with each other because everything is going smoothly.

My experience today. - Its a total waste of time writing complaints to railways. I am soory even; I am a victim our problems will never be answered, the way the staff at egmore station responded and made me walk around from platform to platform today is a story to narrate with pain. Social occasions such as wedding and reception merit celebration and feasting. True, but I'm appalled by the amount of food that goes waste. Untouched sweets and other dishes off the dinner table end up in trashcan. As if to complement the squander, I see beggars and dogs competing for what is trashed. Police service are a pain nowadays than a boon ; they hamper our work and cause trouble whilst on the go on any busy schedule. They are not hard core performers; this gives them a feeling "you are happy when I suffer"! The police have started to irritate public more these days. BRIBE: One should come to Chennai-INDIA Koyembedu junction in the morning and see the way police constables take bribe from vegetables vendors. I always wished to take photographs of these cruel acts and publish it! Very soon, one reading this post will see the way the take bribe and misuse their power. UNDER PAID: The Police people are under paid but the authority given to them is more, which they don’t deserve. They have zero respect from public; but the fear for them is immense.
